Multiple Glans Irregularities

Thank you for hearing my question:

I am very worried. For about 4 weeks I have been seeing a small grouping of skin colored bumps about 1mm in diameter on just the left side of my glans penis. When I have an erection they look much larger and their color looks more greyish. When the skin on the glans is stretched even further I can see that there are many more visible bumps over more of the glans that almost look like tiny glogged pores. About 3 months ago I had unprotected sex and had only noticed some flakey skin since then that went away after I used moisturizing soap. I had a urine test for bacterial infections, all negative What do you think all of these bumps could be? HPV? They have not bled and they do not itch and they only appear on the glans. I am very nervous and have abstained from all sexual activity. This is messing with my head bad. Please help.

Difficult to say without evaluation.

HPV, other genital warts, herpes, or other STDs can be considered.  Application of acetic acid can make genital warts turn white.  A biopsy of the lesion can give a more definitive diagnosis.

If herpes or syphilis is suspected, appropriate blood tests and cultures can be done as well.

I would also screen for urethritis and other STDs, generally with a urine test and urethral swab.  HIV should also be tested for.

These options can be discussed with a urologist or dermatologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
