Question Title: enuresis

Forum: The Urology Forum
Topic: Incontinence

I take medication for anxiety. It has stopped my enuresis.
When I go off of my meds for just a few days, it comes back.
I've been taking Paxil and Wellbutrin for a year+ but I took zoloft and prozac for a while and they also worked.

I just thought this may help.

___
Dear Kaylah,
Another similar medication that helps with incontinence/enuresis is Tofranil(Imipramine). This medication is sometimes given for anxiety or depression and it works by increasing the bladders ability to store urine. It is given on hour prior to bedtime and the dose may be increased gradually until an effect is seen. These medications are all probably related in some way, unfortunately, we don’t know the primary means of function.
