Question Title: Hurts when I masturbate

Forum: The Urology Forum
Topic: Urethral Cancer

I am a 15 year old male and have just
recentely started to ejaculate. Right after
I ejaculate, there is a slight pain at the
base of my penis on penis on the inside somewhere.
Is this normal, will it go away or is it something
else.
Also, when ever I ejaculate, it just seeps out and
it is a sort of cream or clear color.
As well, I use shampoo as a lubricant. Can this
be harmful. If so, what can I use?

I really need any response anybody has.
PLEASE help me!

George

Dear George,
A "slight" pain following ejaculation may be normal and may represent discomfort from the contractions that occur during orgasm and ejaculation. If the slight pain that you feel is not accompanied by other symptoms, such as burning, painful urination, redness or swelling, for example, it most likely is nothing to worry about. As far as the force of ejaculation, what you have described as "seeping out" is not normal. The usual process of ejaculation is a forceful expulsion of semen. However, prior to ejaculation small amounts of clear, slippery fluid may come out as droplets on the tip of your penis. This is a normal lubrication process before ejaculation. The color you have described is perfectly normal (cream/sort of clear). If your semen continues to just seep out rather than forcefully come out, you should be evaluated by a urologist. A urologist will be able to discover the reason for it. Using shampoo as a lubricant shouldn't be a problem, as long as you wash afterwards. The skin on your penis is sensitive and the shampoo could irritate it if left there, or if it is too drying. Baby oil, K-Y jelly, and other non-irritating lubricants could be used instead if you like.
