I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer after having had a biopsy and ultra sound. it was discovered that there was a tumor. the treatment for this is, hormone shots, and hormone medication for two months, then radiation and continued hormone shots and medication for another two months. My question: is this a new treatment ? and what is the outcome. I have heard of the radiation treatments, but the combination of the two is new. I have been on the hormones now since sept 16th, I get sweats and cramps after taking the pill. also my hips are sore, is this normal? I will begin the radiation sometime in Nov.
