My son who is 10 has been diagnosed with Stargardt Disease and I am looking for a low vision clinic or doctor that could help him get the right aids. I am not having any luck finding a licensed doctor in the state of Wis. All I can come up with are names of people for Low Vision Therapy which my insurance will not cover. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

RL,

I cannot give you a specific name of a low vision specialist in your area. I would recommend you discuss this with your local ophthalmologist or pediatric ophthalmologist and obtain advice from them. They can also assess your insurance coverage and send you in the right direction.

Sincerely,

HFHS MD - NI
