Heya,

I have a feeling the problem I am about to describe is a very horrible symptom of a GI (gastro) problem I have (as yet undiagnosed), but in the small possibility that its just an eye problem.. I might as well post.

What happens is it feels like my eyes aren't co-ordinated, ie. don't work together.

If I stare at one particular object, a pressue quickly builds up around my eyes (esp. to the sides) until a point where my head starts trembling and swaying and I feel like I'm going to vomit.

This is the best way I can describe it. Overall, I can see well enough but I have the above mentioned problem whenever I try to focus on/stare at something.

Hope you can help. Thanks.

Dear Adam
I reviewed your symptoms that you described. Unfortunately, it is difficult to comment without more information. Do you esperience double vision when staring at an object? It is possible that this could elicit nausea symptoms that you described. I recommend that you see an ophthalmologist for a complete ophthalmic examination before proceding to a GI work-up. Sometimes it may be as simple as needing a pair of glasses.

You can reach our department by calling 3139162020 for further information.
