I am a 44 yr. old female. Over the last several weeks I have had some reoccurring vision problems which I am wondering if I should have checked. My left eye seems to be blurred off and on. One day it was as though I was looking through the wrong side of a magnifying glass all day(again left eye) Aside from this I have had ringing in my ears also for several weeks. My questions are could these be related and could they both be caused by a sinus problem? Should I have this checked and if so by who? Blurry vision is a nonspecific symptom which can be caused by anything from needing glasses to actual eye problems. At your age, you probably need reading glasses or bifocals. If you try to read without them, the print could seem intermittently blurry. Sinus problems can also affect the eyes. This may also explain the ringing of the ears. Without more information and without examining you, it is very difficult to answer your question. You should have a complete eye exam by your local ophthalmologist.
