Yes, I may be interested in seeing you as a second opinion if I am still having problems in 2-3 months when the heating season resumes and dry humidity returns. I am not in the Detroit metro area, but in the Lansing area. We have only 1, possibly 2 MD's in this area that do this type of surgery so I might value a second opinion from someone who does many of these surgeries. How can I get information about who you are, office, etc. to keep for future reference? My e-mail address is posted in this forum. I may have mis-spoke about the "pain" I was experiencing. I would describe it more as soreness and uncomfortableness. It is usually triggered by cool air or wind and when I press on the incision or in the area I feel soreness and there can be a nagging uncomfortableness in that area. I don't think the eye actually hurts, but it is sometimes difficult to exactly pinpoint where the feeling is coming from.
