Subject: Re: Vision Fluctuation after Lasik Topic Area: Laser Vision Correction (LASIK and PRK)Posted by Sepideh Rezania on July 05, 1999 at 16:21:42Hello, Appreciate it, Sepideh
Posted by HFHS MD-JL on July 05, 1999 at 18:10:39 This is certainly not typical. I will speak with some of my collegues and see if they have experienced such. It would be important to see if your refraction actually changes. Your eye doctor should be checking this. You may have some type of corneal dystrophy that may be causing vision fluctuations. Another possibility although unlikely would be that a metabolic process such as diabetes may be causing this. You may want to have your blood sugar checked. Now if the vision is not truly fluctuating but has changed and is stable you may want to consider an enhancement. This information was provided for medical educational purposes only.
