Blockage?

by Dobser, Jun 09, 2006 12:00AM
Urine flow is very weak, and sometimes sprays/ goes at 90 degree angle! some oily residue left in bowl after wards.

During sex,(usually only on my back I feel this) I almost feel like I have to push the sperm out, or it will get stuck!

The 'blockage' seems to be at the base of the penis,(underside) just where it joins to the scrotum

Any ideas? possibilities?

Thanks in advance

Urethral stricture, urethral polyp and prostate enlargement or masses are all possible causes.

A rectal exam to evaluate the prostate should be performed.  Imaging with a transrectal ultrasound can be considered for a more comprehensive evaluation.

If negative, a cystoscopy can be considered to look for any urethral strictures or polyps.

These options can be discussed with a urologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
