need help noticed something with eyes

well, i'm a hypochondriac, and today i noticed something about my eyes. When i close one eye and turn my head in the direction of the eye I closed, but keep concentrating my vision where I was originally looking I see like a black shadow like thing kind of appear. It is very faint and seems to move with my vision when I turn my head. This is only noticable if I turn my head and continue to look in the same direction. I dont necessarily have to have an eye closed to notice this. This happens to the other side of my vision as well If i close my other eye and turn my head in that direction. Can anyone please offer some insight to what this could be?
