INO/BINO

by T-lynn, May 21, 2007 12:00AM
What can you tell me about internuclear opthalmoplegia (INO or BINO).

Is there a cure or meds that can help it.

I do have MS.

INO/BINO was detected through a visual evoked potential and a VNG test done by an ENT.

its a cranial nerve problem.  there is no cure for BINO, you must treat the underlying condition.  someone has to figure out where the lesion is (which cranial nerves) and what the cause is, and fix it.  possible causes off the top of my head: lyme disease, diabetes, MS, aneurysm, compressive lesion (tumor), trauma, virus, myasthenia gravis etc etc.

you need a full physical and blood workup to rule out systemic disorders.
