Weird rash around eye

This weird rash started in February unexpectedly on the right side of my face. It consists of little red bumps which itch for very short periods of time and never itch again. The bumps then form white heads and then disappear, only to reappear later. It now circles my right eye and is beginning to spread around my left eye. Based on my own research I thoguht it could be herpes but the symptoms do not match and the eye itself is not red or darkened. There has also been a spot that formed above my muastache but is much larger.

obviously the concern is viral (simplex) outbreak, among other things.
