running and retinal detachmenst

by RUNNERNANCY, Apr 16, 2007 12:00AM
I am scheduled for my 3rd surgery for retinal detachment. The affected eye is a -22.00. Once I am healed and free to resume normal activities, I am putting myself at any increased risk to keep running. I want to protect my other eye which is only a -5.00

running is fine.  a -5.00 is at much, much lower risj for RD than a -22.00 eye
