Continued poor unaided vision 2 weeks post surgery

It's now 2 weeks post surgery, and my unaided vision is now worse than shortly after surgery. Without glasses, I have no sharp vision anywhere in the the range. I saw my optometrist (not affiliated with the surgeon), and he fitted me with a temporary +2 (pending full healing) lens which makes everything from dashboard to infinity very sharp. Daytime driving is truly a pleasure. I have not tried night driving yet, as I still get streaks walking around at night.
I still have inflamation and have been given a stronger eye drop, Econopred plus.
All the literature says to wait 4-6 weeks post surgery for optimal results, but it's hard to imagine my acuity improving that much.
My question are:
1. Could deterioration continue?
2. Is this much of a miss from plano common?
3. What remedy (Other than contacts/ glasses) is there?
4. Since ghosting/ blurring has been eliminated, should I just shut up and enjoy what I've got.

Now all I need is reading glasses +1 and no distance correction at all, not even for driving. Driving at night is the way is now great and I was thinking I'd never be able to drive in the dark again.
Hang in there, it took six months for my eyes to heal. I had a longer dose of drops for inflammation also. Once I stopped the drops, that was when things settled down.

I had RK on both eyes 14 years ago. My vision was good for the next 10 years when I noticed that the vision in my right eye was getting worse. I visited an eye surgeon just outside Washington DC (where I lived at the time), who recommended a Lasik "touch-up", which I had and which worked fine. Recently the same thing started happening with my left eye and I went to a different eye surgeon as I now live in South Florida. He informed that I had started to form cataracts and this was the reason for the change in vision and recommended a crystalens IOL for my left eye (the dominant one).
I had the surgery on Feb 20 and to say that I was disappointed afterwards would be an understatement!! When the patch was removed from my eye the day after surgery all I could see from that eye was a complete blur with no definition near, mid or far. I was very worried. Although the blur diminished over the next week my vision from the operated eye still sucked and the eye was very uncomfortable as well. I was supposed to return to the doctor next Wednesday March 14, however by this past Monday March 5 my eye was so uncomfortable that I went back to the doctor. He told me that my eye had developed an inflammation and gave me Nevanac drops to take along with the Econopred plus I was already taking.
Well, the improvement in my eye was almost immediate. By Tuesday evening my distance vision had improved dramatically and my eye was no longer irritating. Today, which is 2 weeks and 2 days post op, my eye continues to improve. It is certainly not yet where I want it to be but I feel a whole lot better. I would say that my distance vision is now almost equal in both eyes and while my reading is not as good with the operated eye I feel that it is improving daily. I am typing this unaided, whilst relying a lot on the unoperated eye, but with no major discomfort. Another major and unexpected benefit is that for some reason at night the severe "halo" effect that I have come to live with since my original RK surgery has been greatly reduced by my crystalens.
I hope that like me your improvement when it comes, and I'm sure it will, will be be both rapid and dramatically good!
