myopic degenearation vs dry macular degeneration?

i had my cataract surgery a month ago, and for the first time, the doctor said i had myopic degeneration, i used have laser for my retina detached....by another doctor 20years ago, and was told i had dry macular degeneration...



which doctor was right?

who knows?  there is no way for me to know which doc was right.

i asked around and my 2cent answer is ; result is no different,

the myopic degeneration pull the retina, and thin it, and dry macular degeneration is also caused the retina to get thin.
