Cataract surgery complications

I recently had cataract surgery. I am 47 years old. Right eye on Nov. 7 and the left on Nov. 14th. I also have narrow angle Glaucoma. After the surgeries my vision was very poor due to the lenses bowing out. My Dr. dilated my eyes to flatten the lense this helped my vision. Once the dilation wore off I started having excrutiating headaches due to pressure spikes. When I returned to the Dr. my pressures were in the upper 40's. He told me that the gel in the center of my eye is pushing everything forward and is causing my pressures to spike. Right now to keep the pressures down my eyes have to stay dilated and I am on Cosopt and Zylatan. My Dr. says I will probably have to have the gel removed so that everything will stay back. Does anyone have any comments on my situation? It is all a bit frightening.
