Overcorrected Eye

by Rififi, Oct 05, 2006 12:00AM
Three weeks ago I had a Lasik treatment on both eyes for Monovision. Since that I have strong big floating halos at night and my sight in general is not very good. Yesterday I had the 3rd follow up examination and the doctor said: Your eye is more than twice as much overcorrected as it should be. He gave me a perscription for glasses and suggested to "tune" this overcorrection in about three month. Now I'm wondering how can such an extreme overcorrection happen? I'm not feeling good about going back to that surgent to do another treatment on my eyes. What should I do?

only 3 weeks aout you should not be too alarmed.  this could still fix itself.

but what i tell most patients is...get a second opinion.  especially if you dont feel good about your visits with the surgeon.
