Treatment of breast cancer with bone mets

Is there any literature documenting the effectiveness of taking both Nalvebine and Xeloda together to fight breast cancer with bone mets?

Dear ylynn:  I have done a search and have been unable to uncover much research using navelbine with xeloda for treatment of breast cancer with bone metastasis.  I was able to find one open trial using these drugs together.  It is a phase I/II trial for older women (over 65) either with or without bone metastasis.  The purpose of the study is to determine the maximum safe doses of this combination of drugs.  It is very common for both agents to be used as single agents and in combination with other drugs.  Based on the fact that this study is still open and in phase I/II, it is too early to tell what the results might be.
