That could be coming from the back like a herniated disc, misalligned pelvic bone, piriformis muscle syndrome or kidney. It is called referred pain.  What side is the pain on and what are other symptoms new to you that may or may not be related? Right side front could be apendex(sp?)Could be an ovary cyst or tubal pregnancy. Pulled muscle?

It was on the left side. It seemed to go away and transfer to the left side of the back(low). I can still feel it slightly, but my back pain is still there. It is not appendicidis(?) but I'm wondering is it could be a slight hernia or something.

First of all I am so sorry that it took this long to post back. I just didn't see it there I guess.  Are you a female?  If yes how long has it been since your last GYN physical?  I'm thinking an ovary cyst or something like that. Or is ithurting where your kidney is?  Hate to ask but have you been going pooh alright? I once had a terrible pain in my back, went to the ER it was so bad.  The xray showed that I was full of s---. Yes the doctor said I was full of s---. I told him that I had been going just fine even that day but I guess it wasn't enough. He prescribed a hospital type enema and the pain was gone in a few days.  I can't think of anything else that would be causing your pain. A pulled muscle would do it and last for a long time especially if you keep injuring it or haven't done anything to lessen the inflamation. I hope you are better by the time you read this post but if you aren't please see a doctor.  Good Luck & sorry again
